Individualized Mentorships
Mentorships are tailored and customized to each teacher. Teachers receive one-on-one guidance and feedback to build upon their strengths, overcome areas of ineffectiveness, and improve their ability to deliver information authentically.
Each mentorship focuses on interpreting complex theories and converting them into safe, relatable contexts that suit each teacher’s personality and clientele. Each mentee can select from various educational topics, which are scientific and evidence-based, emphasizing musculoskeletal, physiological, and neuroscience comprehension and application. Mentorships also include business development and support through customized marketing strategies, uncovering one’s exact niche, and developing a sustainable career.
Mentorships are available to teachers who have completed, at minimum, a 200-hour yoga teacher training. Yoga Alliance approved programs are not required; however, CEUs are only available for those currently registered with Yoga Alliance.
Each mentee can select from any of the following topics:
- Functional Movement: Applied Anatomy and Kinesiology
- Injury Management
- Yoga Therapy for Substance Abuse Recovery
- Therapeutics: Sequencing, Modifying, and Adapting
- Understanding and Applying the Panchamayakosha Model
- The Art of Hands-on Adjustments
- Program Development
- Business Development: Marketing, Finding your Niche, and Developing a Sustainable Career
If there is a topic that is important to you, and you do not feel it fits within one of the categories mentioned above, contact Jennifer directly. She will work with you to create a new category or explain how it applies to one of the categories above.
All mentorships qualify for CEU’s under Yoga Alliance guidelines. Both contact and non-contact CEU‘s provided in the following:
